AYE IVE,GOT CP AWW THAT’S A SHAME

SOCIETY WOULD HAVE YOU BELIEVE LIFE IS OVER

When I was born, I was a normal happy baby everything seemed fine, until one day it was noticed I wasn’t reaching the goals I should have been at 6 months old, this is when I was diagnosed with CP.  I just can’t walk and I am confined to a wheelchair, but that is it my brain works fine, if you see me in the street come talk to me, I can talk back to you.

CP doesn’t mean you are clueless, there are several different types of CP we are all different. If I can give you some advice it would be this there is always a way to communicate with people with disabilities, we are people not robots. Life with CP has its challenges but isn’t bad when you make the most of everyday situations, I wouldn’t change who I am, it’s me and I am proud of who I am.

Having CP I didn’t think I would be where I am today. when I was a wee guy I thought the world was ending due to having a physical disability, but look at me now. I am currently studying media and communications at college at HNC level, playing power chair football which has took me to different countries around Europe which is something I could never dream of, Growing up I never thought I could play football now I get to play at a decent level and carry out my dream.
